However, the NFL will no longer suspend players for marijuana use. Gordon has been suspended numerous times for marijuana use.

Since the 2018 season, Gordon has played for the Cleveland Browns, New England Patriots, and the Seahawks. He is presently a free agent after playing the 2019 season under his previous deal.

At one time during the 2013 season, Gordon was a beast on the field as he was near unstoppable with the Browns. However, since he has been out of the league for a while before his return, he is no longer a top-flight player.

Yet, he does have the ability to stretch the field. Gordon was the Seahawks third receiver during his brief tenure with the team.

Before arriving in Seattle, he was a starter for the Patriots.

On Wednesday, the league reinstated defensive end Aldon Smith, who had been out of the league since the 2015 season. Smith has had numerous run-ins with the law and has been arrested several times.

Yet, Smith was approved for reinstatement into the league. Back in April, he had signed a one-year deal with the Dallas Cowboys.

While Smith’s approval has given Gordon some hope of being reinstated back into the league, he still has still hurdles to overcome in order to be approved to re-enter into the league.
