Cindric wins the long 2020 Henry 180 at Road America

Austin Cindric won the 2020 Henry 180 at Road America at Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin on Saturday. However, instead of the 45-lap race taking less than two hours, it actually took nearly five hours with all the delays.

The race at weather delays, along with late crashes, that caused the long day at the venue. The race was completed in two hours and 56 minutes.

This is Cindric’s fourth win of the 2020 season in the Xfinity Series. Now, the Mooresville, North Carolina driver has six wins in the series overall.

A.J. Allmendinger finished second in his Ellsworth Advisors sponsored ride for Kaulig Racing. Chase Briscoe was the third-place finisher in the Henry Repeating Arms for Fred Biagi.

Cindric led with a race-high 19 laps led. Allmendinger, Preston Pardus, Josh Bilicki, Justin Haley, and Kaz Grala led multiple laps. Noah Gragson, Alex Labbé, and Justin Allgaier led one lap each.

Several drivers did not finish the race. This list includes Jeremy Clements, Allgaier, Jeffrey Earnhardt, Myatt Snider, Kody Vanderwal, Vinnie Miller, Daniel Hemric, and Bayley Currey did not finish the race.
