Tennessee Titans offensive tackle Isaiah Wilson was arrested late Friday night for DUI. Wilson was arrested at 11:29 pm, according to A to Z Nashville.
He was booked at 12:44 am on Saturday morning, before being bonded out at 1:28 am. Wilson reportedly blew at 0.113 at the time of being pulled over.
He also blew a 0.107 during a second test. The Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) for the State of Tennessee is 0.08.
“We are aware of the situation,” the Titans said in a statement. “This is not conduct that is indicative of the character of our football team and we are working through details on how to proceed.”
Wilson was drafted by the Titans with the 29th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. He played college football with the Georgia Bulldogs.
He was supposed to compete for the starting right tackle job with the Titans. However, Wilson has had some things that came up that cost him the job.
He was placed on the COVID-19/Reserve list. This means either he had the coronavirus, or was close to someone, who had the coronavirus.
There were players, like Josh Allen and Matthew Stafford, who had false positives. They were held out of practice with their teammates, before returning to action.
In a August 21st post on PaulKuharsky.com, Wilson was in a Tennessee State University police report. He was attending a party on campus and thought about jumping off a second-story balcony.
Wilson received a trespass warning.
