Sprint Car driver Tanner Thorson has announced that his plans have changed. He said he will be parting ways with Hayward Motorsports.
He is looking for other options to finish out the 2020 season and the 2021 season.

“The end of the 2020 race season will bring some changes for me,” Thorson said in a Facebook post. “Effective immediately, I have decided to part ways with Hayward Motorsports. Even with COVID-19 cutting our season short, we still managed to have a good season in the Oilfire Whiskey/Hayward 19. While I appreciate the opportunity given to me by Hayward Motorsports, I’ve decided that my racing career needs to head in a new direction.
“I will pursue other options to finish out 2020 and for the 2021 season.”
