One Championship fighter Sage Northcutt announced on Facebook that he was engaged. He now excited to marry his girlfriend Amanda.
Northcutt recently asked Amanda to marry him. No wedding date has been announced yet.
“We’re engaged,” Northcutt posted on Facebook. “I can’t wait to marry you and spend everyday with you! I love you Amanda! And thanks for making such a beautiful ring, Happy Jewelers.”
The 24-year-old hopes that he has found his soulmate in Amanda. The fighter – who previously competed in the UFC – has fought in the Featherweight, Lightweight, and Welterweight division.
Northcutt – who resides in Sacramento, California – has won all of his 15 kickboxing events. He is also 11-3 in 14 mixed martial arts events.
He lost in his lone One Championship bout so far. He was knocked out in the first-round by Cosmo Alexandre on May 17, 2019 in Kallang, Singapore.
Northcutt was in the UFC from 2015-2018. He ended his tenure with the Las Vegas-based company with three straight wins over Michel Quiñones, Thibault Gouti, and Zak Ottow.
As a UFC fighter, he was 6-2. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, he has not been able to travel outside of the United States to compete in One Championship in 2020.
When Northcutt signed with One Championship, he was one of three fighters with previous ties to the UFC to join the Asian company. Demetrious Johnson was traded to One Championship in a blockbuster deal for Ben Askren.
Eddie Alvarez departed UFC as a free agent and signed with One Championship.
“It’s an honor to be a part of the One Championship family,” Northcutt said when he signed with One Championship in Nov. 2018. “I’m looking forward to being a part of something great.”
