The Los Angeles Dodgers have won the 2020 World Series. They defeated the Tampa Bay Rays, 4-2.
In Game 6, the Dodgers won 3-1 on Tuesday night over the Rays at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.

One decision came back to haunt the Rays. Pitcher Blake Snell dominated the Dodgers when he was in the game.
Yet, he was pulled after just 73 pitches in the sixth inning. Rays manager Kevin Cash removed his pitcher without Snell going through the lineup for the third time.

When Snell was dealing, he became the first pitcher in a World Series game to have nine strikeouts through four innings since Sandy Koufax in 1963.
Koufax had nine strikeouts in Game 1 of the 1963 World Series against the New York Yankees.
The left-handed pitcher is considered one of the greats. In Game 1 against the Yankees, he had 15 strikeouts in a 5-2 Dodgers win.
Mookie Betts became the first player in MLB history to have a home run in two World Series clinching-game before 30-years-old. He also had a home run in Game 5 with the Boston Red Sox when they won the World Series in 2018.
This off-season, the Dodgers acquired Mookie Betts and David Price in a blockbuster deal.

Betts scored two of the three runs. In the bottom of the eighth inning, he hit a two-run home run to go up 3-1.
He also scored on a fielder’s choice by World Series MVP Corey Seager in the bottom of the sixth inning.
Rays rising star Randy Arozarena hit a solo home run in the first inning. This was his 10th postseason home run.
He is the only player in MLB history to have 10 home runs in a postseason.
Dodgers pitcher Victor González has been credited with the win. He went 1 1/2 innings while not allowing a hit.
González also struck out three batters.

Julio Urías picked up the save after going 2 1/2 innings to end the game.
Rays pitcher Nick Anderson received the loss. He went 1/3 of an inning and gave up Seager’s fielder’s choice for the go-ahead run.
