The Wyoming Cowboys beat down the Hawai’i Rainbow Warriors on Friday night. The Cowboys won 31-7 over the Rainbow Warriors at Jonah Field at War Memorial Stadium in Laramie, Wyoming.
With the win, the Cowboys improved to 1-1 on the season. The loss dropped the Rainbow Warriors to 1-1.

Wyoming and Hawai’i are ties with Fresno State with a 1-1 record in the Mountain West.
The Cowboys also received the Paniolo Trophy with the win.

Cowboys quarterback Levi Williams went 9 of 18 for 112 yards.
Xazavian Valladay had 32 carries for 163 yards and two touchdowns. He also had two receptions for 32 yards.
Rainbow Warriors quarterback Chevan Cordeiro went 11 of 26 for 110 yards. He also had an interception.

Miles Reed had seven carries for 54 yards. Zion Bowens had one reception for 47 yards.
Valladay had the aforementioned two touchdowns for the Cowboys. Trey Smith also had two touchdowns.
John Hoyland also made a field goal.

Dae Dae Hunter scored the Rainbow Warriors lone touchdown.
