The 28-year-old DeSoto, Texas native will miss part of his first season with the Seahawks. In his first campaign in the Great Northwest, Moore appeared in seven games with zero starts.
Moore has had eight tackles, including one tackle for a loss and six quarterback hits. He also had 1.0 sacks and one forced fumble.
He had two tackles in Sunday’s 37-27 win over the San Francisco 49ers. Moore also had one tackle for a loss and one quarterback hit in the game.
Only twice this season has Moore seen more than 30 defensive snaps in a game. One was in Week 3 in a 38-31 win over the Dallas Cowboys when he saw 42% of the defensive snaps with 34 snaps.
The other came in Week 4 in a 31-23 win over the Miami Dolphins, as he had a season-high 47% defensive snaps with 33 defensive snaps.
He saw action in 21 defensive snaps in the win over the 49ers on November 1st. Before Sunday’s game, he saw action in 21 defensive snaps (24%) and 22 defensive snaps (26%) in the previous two weeks.
The journeyman has been a depth guy in the NFL. Since being drafted in the third-round of the 2013 NFL Draft by the New York Giants, he has bounced around the league.
Besides playing for the Giants and the Seahawks, he has also played for the Miami Dolphins, Dallas Cowboys, Oakland Raiders, and the San Francisco 49ers.
He has appeared in 63 NFL games with zero starts .He has had 96 tackles, including 12 tackles for a loss and 35 quarterback hits.
Moore has 11.0 sacks, four forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, and four pass deflections.
