We should know more about his injury by this weekend.

Thompson missed the entire 2019-20 season. He suffered a torn ACL injury to his left leg in June 2019 in Game 6 of the NBA Finals against the Toronto Raptors.

One-half of the Splash Brothers, Thompson is one of the best pure shooters in the league. The Warriors were hoping to contend this season after having one of the worst records in the league during the 2019-20 season.
