The Louisville Cardinals defeated the Syracuse Orange on Friday night. The Cardinals shut out the Orange 30-0 at Cardinal Stadium in Louisville, Kentucky.
The Cardinals two-game losing streak was snapped with this win. This was their first win since October 24th when they won 48-16 over the Florida State Seminoles.

Louisville picked up their first shutout of the season. This was their first shutout win since a 42-0 win over Eastern Kentucky Colonel on September 7, 2019.
The Orange are now in a six-game losing streak. They are 1-8 on the season following the loss.
Cardinals quarterback Malik Cunningham went 19 of 28 for 219 yards. He had one touchdown pass and two interceptions.
Maurice Burkley had 10 carries for 56 yards. Braden Smith had seven receptions for 65 yards.
Orange quarterback JaCobian Morgan went 5 of 12 for 40 yards. He had one interception.
Sean Tucker had 16 carries for 93 yards. Anthony Queeley had three receptions for 31 yards.
Jalen Mitchell and Cunningham combined for two rushing touchdowns for the Cardinals. Tutu Atwell also caught a touchdown reception.
Kicker James Turner also made three field goals.
