Brady throws late pick, as Rams defeat Buccaneers on MNF

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers fell short in their attempt to defeat the Los Angeles Rams on Monday Night Football. The Rams won 27-24 over the Buccaneers at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.

The Rams improved to 7-3 with the win. With the loss, the Buccaneers fell to 7-4.

Los Angeles has won two straight games after losing to the Miami Dolphins.

Tampa Bay has dropped two of their last three games. They also lost a lackluster performance in a blowout loss to the New Orleans Saints in a 38-3 loss on Sunday Night Football.

In prime time games this season, NFL legend Tom Brady is 1-3.

Brady had a chins to guide the Buccaneers to a game-winning touchdown or a game-winning field goal. However, the future Hall of Famer overthrew the pass, which was intercepted.

Rams quarterback Jared Goff went 39 of 51 for 376 yards. He also had three touchdown passes and two interceptions.

Malcolm Brown had three carries for 20 yards. Cooper Kupp had 11 receptions for 145 yards.

Brady went 26 of 48 for 216 yards. He had two touchdown passes and two interceptions.

Ronald Jones II had 10 carries for 24 yards. Antonio Brown had 8 receptions for 57 yards.

Robert Woods, Van Jefferson Jr., and Cam Akers caught touchdown receptions for the Rams. Both touchdown receptions by Jefferson and Akers were their first scores in the NFL.

Rams kicker Matt Gay — who recently signed with the Rams — also kicked two field goals. He spent the 2019 season with the Buccaneers.

Mike Evans and Chris Godwin caught touchdown receptions for the Buccaneers. Leonard Fournette also scored a rushing touchdown for the team.

Tampa Bay kicker Ryan Succop also made a field goal.
