Las Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs was arrested early Monday morning. He was arrested for DUI just hours after the Raiders defeated the Denver Broncos on Sunday.
He was arrested following a single-car accident close to McCarran Airport in Paradise, Nevada. The authorities were called to the scene at approximately 4:42 am local time.
The police said that Jacobs was impaired. And due to his injuries, he was transported to a local hospital.

Once he was released from the hospital, Jacobs was taken to Clark County Detention Center. He was then booked for DUI.
“No complaint has been filed against our client and there are no blood test results to support a suggestion of impairment,” Jacobs’ attorneys David Z. Chesnoff and Richard A. Schonfeld said in a statement. “We intend to enter a not guilty plea on behalf of Mr. Jacobs if he is ever charged.”

The Raiders are aware of the matter involving Jacobs. However, they are not making any further comments on the matter.
Jacobs has been released from jail. He has a pending court appearance in two months on March 8th.

“We’re just aware of it. I will say that Josh is OK and I’m not at liberty to comment on it until I get more facts,” Raiders head coach Jon Gruden said. “But we do have word that Josh is OK and we are looking into the matter.”
