The New York Mets have made a blockbuster deal on Thursday. The team has acquired a star player in this deal.
The team has added shortstop Francisco Lindor and right-handed pitcher Carlos Carrasco in the deal. In exchange, the Cleveland Indians have received infielders Amed Rosario, and Andrés Giménez, along with right-handed pitcher Josh Wolf and outfielder Isaiah Greene.
Rosario had been with the Mets since the 2017 season. Giménez made his MLB debut during the 60-game MLB coronavirus shortened season. Both Wolf and Greene are prospects.
The Indians said that they would move the 27-year-old before the start of the 2021 season. And they found a taker with the Mets.

The 22-year-old Giménez appeared in 49 games during his MLB debut season. He made his first appearance in an MLB game on July 24th.
