Earlier this month, we reported that the Phillies offered Realmuto a deal worth north of $100 million.
The Atlanta Braves were mentioned in the past few days. However, it was going to be tough to sign Realmuto when the team has Travis d’Arnaud already on their books for the 2021 season.
He has appeared in 192 games during his tenure in Philadelphia. Realmuto appeared in 145 games during his first season with the Phillies.

Realmuto had a .266 batting average with 11 home runs and 32 RBIs in the 47 games. He also had six doubles; while scoring 33 runs, on 46 hits.
