Bradenton Motorsports Park employee killed at 2021 US Street Nationals

There was a death during the U.S. Street Nationals presented by Diamond Pistons on Friday. The event is taking place at Bradenton Motorsports Park in Bradenton, Florida.

It is believed that the person who died was a track employee. No cause of death has been announced.

The person, who passed away, has not been identified. More information may be released in the coming days.

The event will resume on Saturday morning.

“We had a tragic accident tonight, and we ask that you keep the BMP family in your prayers,” the track said in a post on their Facebook page. “Racing will continue tomorrow at 10 am.”

At this time, little information has been made available as to what exactly led to the worker’s death. According to Ellen Eschenbacher — who is attending the event — Paul Major was the driver when something happened.

She said that Major was fine, but his “throttle hung and went long.” She said that Major is having a tough time following the incident.
