PGA golfer Tiger Woods will not be charged for his accident near Los Angeles, California. According to Los Angeles Sheriff Alex Villanueva, it was ‘purely an accident.’
Woods was seriously injured after the horrific accident. The first responders on Tuesday said that he was lucky to be alive.
“He was not drunk,” Villanueva said Wednesday on Instagram Live. “We can throw that one out.”

Woods suffered ”multiple open fractures” to his lower right leg. He is awake and responsive.
The legendary golfer was in California to participate in a two-day content shoot with Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert and New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees.
He was also at a golf tournament in the area before the crash.
“We’re so thankful and so grateful to have read that statement last night and to know that he’s going to be okay,” PGA Tour Commissioner Jay Monahan said. “Because all that matters right now is his well-being, his recovery, his family. He knows he’s got the support of everybody here. The golf world will rally around him.”

He was not drunk at the time of the crash.
The authorities said that Woods lost control of his vehicle, hit the median. Then went across two lanes of traffic before rolling several times.
