The veteran signal-caller will be on his fourth team in the last four NFL seasons. He began his career with the Baltimore Ravens.

He was then traded to the Denver Broncos. Last season, he was with the New York Jets.

Now, in what may be his final season in the league, he comes home to play for the Eagles. Philadelphia was in the mix to sign him last off-season before signing with the Jets.

As the Eagles back up, he’ll serve more as a mentor for second-year quarterback Jalen Hurts, who is expected to enter his first season as the starter. Hurts takes over the starting role from Carson Wentz, who was traded in the off-season to the Indianapolis Colts.

This past season with the Jets, Flacco appeared in five games, including four starts when Sam Darnold was injured. He went 0-4 as a starter.
