No. 2 Crimson Tide escapes with a win over unranked LSU

The No. 2 Alabama Crimson Tide escaped with a win over the LSU Tigers on Saturday night. The Crimson Tide won 20-14 over the Tigers at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

 

With the win, the Crimson Tide improved to 8-1 on the season. Alabama has won three straight games.

 

The Tigers fell to 4-5 overall. LSU has dropped their last two games.

 

Crimson Tide quarterback Bryce Young went 24 of 37 for 302 yards. He had two touchdown passes.

 

Brian Robinson Jr. Had 13 carries for 18 yards and a touchdown. Jameson Williams had 10 receptions for 160 yards and a touchdown.

 

Tigers quarterback Max Johnson went 16 of 32 for 160 yards. He had two touchdown passes and one interception.

Tyrion Davis-Price had 23 carries for 104 yards. Jaray Jenkins had four receptions for 54 yards.

 

The Tigers outscored the Crimson Tide 7-6 in the second half. Johnson hit Jack Bech for an eight-yard touchdown reception.

 

Young hit Williams for a 58-yard touchdown.

 

The Crimson Tide led 14-7 at halftime. Young hit John Metchie for an eight-yard touchdown reception.

 

Robinson Jr. also scored on a two-yard rushing touchdown.

 

Johnson hit Brian Thomas Jr. for an eight-yard touchdown reception.
