The Utah State Aggies defeated the Oregon State Beavers in the inaugural Jimmy Kimmel LA Bowl presented by Stifel. The Aggies won 24-13 over the Bears at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
With the win, the Beavers improved to 11-3 on the season. The Beavers fell to 7-6.
The Aggies are now 5-9 in Bowl games with the win. The win snapped their one-game losing streak as their last Bowl game was a 51-41 loss to the Kent State Golden Flashes in the 2019 Frisco Bowl.

The Beavers are now 11-7 in Bowl games with the loss. Oregon State has dropped three of its last four Bowl games.
This was their first Bowl game since the 2013 Hawai’i Bowl when they defeated the Boise State Broncos 38-23.
Aggies quarterback Cooper Legas went 11 of 20 for 171 yards. He had two touchdown passes and one interception.
Calvin Tyler Jr. had 26 carries for 120 yards and a touchdown. Deven Thompkins had six receptions for 115 yards and a touchdown.
Beavers quarterback Chance Nolan went 21 of 30 for 263 yards. He threw an interception.
B.J. Baylor had 18 carries for 78 yards. Luke Musgrave had three receptions for 44 yards.
Utah State outscored Oregon State 10-3 in the second half. Brandon Bowling intercepted Legas then returned it for a five-yard touchdown.
Connor Coles also made a 25-yard field goal.

Beavers’ Everett Hayes also made a 34-yard field goal.
The Aggies led 14-10 at halftime. Tyler Jr. scored on a 15-yard rushing touchdown. Legas hit Thompkins for a 62-yard touchdown reception.
Beavers’ Jesiah Irish scored on a 20-yard rushing touchdown. Hayes made a 37-yard field goal.
