By Anthony Caruso III | Publisher The NFL has been mourning the death of icon John Madden. Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs has decided to do something different than to make a social media post. Diggs will be honoring the NFL legend with custom-made cleats. He worked with Mache to create the cleats that he will be allowed to wear during warm-ups against the Atlanta Falcons in Buffalo, New York. On one-side of the cleats, it’ll have Madden’s face. The second side of the cleat has Madden with his hand in the face. It also says 1936-2021. Most people will remember Madden as the Oakland Raiders head coach. He is the winningest coach in terms of percentage of a coach with 10 seasons. The 85-year-old led the Raiders from 1969 through 1978. He went 112-39-7, including a Super Bowl XI win. For those that do not know Madden as a coach, they either know him as a legendary broadcaster. Or through the Madden NFL video game. Diggs likely grew up with Madden on his TV screens. And through the Madden video game. https://twitter.com/SportsCenter/status/1477690708911923204?s=20
