Team NOLA drag racer Bobby Ducote was not able to make the show on Saturday. He did not qualify for the Street Outlaws No Prep Kings show at Virginia Motorsports Park in North Dinwiddie, Virginia.

Ducote had to race his way in on Friday night to qualify for the show. However, he lost in that race.

He was put in this situation after losing to Robin Roberts at Palm Beach International Raceway in Jupiter, Florida to begin the season. Anyone who suffered a first-round loss in Florida then had to go to Virginia for a chance to make it into the Invitational.

“Yup, it’s official,” Ducote said after missing out on the show. “I am NO good at track racing or my luck is just horrible at the track. Def [definitely] one of the 2. Already getting me this season!!! Guess that’s why it’s called racing, not winning. Thanks to all the fans that come by. Y’all are why we keep pushing.”

Ducote will try to qualify for his first Invitational in three weeks at Maple Grove Raceway in Mohnton, Pennsylvania. The last time Ducote raced in Pennsylvania, he made it into the show.

Will he have the same luck this year? We’ll have to see when the Street Outlaws No Prep Kings makes its way to the Northeast in May.
