The Los Angeles Rams have broken the bank for the second time this week. First, the team re-signed star defensive tackle Aaron Donald.

Now, the team has re-signed star wide receiver Cooper Kupp. He has received a new three-year extension through the 2026 season.

The three additional seasons are now part of a five-year, $110 million deal. Kupp is now one of the highest-paid wide receivers in the league.

He will have an average salary of $22 million per season. He is now the sixth-highest paid wide receiver in the league.

His new deal puts him behind Tyreek Hill, Davante Adams, DeAndre Hopkins, A.J. Brown, and Stefon Diggs. Despite this star-studded field, it was Kupp, who was the NFL’s Offensive Player of the Year in 2021.

The 28-year-old was a third-round draft pick in the 2017 NFL Draft by the Rams. This contract is an early birthday gift, as he will turn 29 on June 15th.

He has been with the Rams for the last five seasons. He has appeared in 71 games, including 57 starts.

For the first time in his career, he started all 17 games in a season. He had a career-high 145 receptions for 1,947 yards and 16 touchdowns.

He won the Triple Crown, as he led the league in receptions, receiving yards, and touchdowns. In his career, Kupp has had 433 receptions for 5,517 yards and 40 touchdowns.

He also has 14 carries for 80 yards.
