Jim Howe hits the wall during July testing with new car

Odom Racing driver Jim Howe tagged the wall in his new car. He was testing for the second part of the Street Outlaws No Prep Kings season when the incident happened.

Howe was testing at Brainerd Motorsports Park in Ringgold, Georgia. He tagged the wall during the fourth pass.

He escaped serious damage to the car.

“I told you that we would be testing during the break,” Howe said in the YouTube video. “I told you we were going to test until we got this figured out. We have found some issues and have addressed them. We have made some really, really good runs here this weekend. Runs that I’m proud of. I think we’ll do well in the coming days. We have made some shock changes on the car.

“The last pass on the car, we made a full run. The car washes out at the finish line. The throttle return spring was broke on the car. We did a little of damage on The Guardian.”

The Street Outlaws No Prep Kings have several weeks off as Pilgrim Studios films the OG Street Outlaws show. And the Fastest in America show.

Howe has time to fix the minimal damage. The series does not return until August 12th and 13th at Tulsa Raceway Park in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
