The Arkansas Razorbacks have hired Dan Enos as their new offensive coordinator. This is a familiar place for the veteran coach.

He previously worked for the Razorbacks for three seasons. Enos previously was their offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach from 2015 through 2017 under former head coach Bret Bielema.

Now, he will be working with current head coach Sam Pittman. This opportunity became available when Kendal Briles left to become the TCU Horned Frogs offensive coordinator.

Briles filled the role in Fort Worth, Texas after Garrett Riley left the role. Riley accepted the Clemson Tigers offensive coordinator position.

Enos departs after Terrapins quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa announced that he would return for the 2023 season. The veteran quarterback will now have to work with a new offensive coordinator after declining an opportunity to depart for the 2023 NFL Draft.

The longtime coach is credited with Tagovailoa’s development. Now, he will be working with quarterback K.J. Jefferson, who announced that he will return in 2023.

The Razorbacks under Briles averaged 32.5 points per game.

Since initially leaving Fayetteville, Arkansas, Enos has bounced around. He spent the 2018 season as the Alabama Crimson Tide assistant head coach and quarterbacks coach.

The following season, he was the Miami (Florida) Hurricanes offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. Then in 2020, he was the Cincinnati Bearcats assistant head coach and running backs coach.
