Princeton, NJ — The Princeton Tigers men’s basketball team escaped with a one-point win. They defeated the Furman Paladins 70-69 on Saturday afternoon at Jadwin Gym.
With the win, the Tigers improved to 8-0 on the season. The loss dropped the Paladins to 4-4 overall.

The score was tied three times. And there were 10 lead changes.
Xaivian Lee led the Tigers with 24 points. He went 7 of 19 from the field, including 1 of 7 from three-point range. He also was 9 of 11 from the free throw line.

Lee also had six rebounds, two assists, one block, and one steal.
Lee was one of three Tigers, who scored in double digits. Caden Pierce had 22 and Matt Allocco contributed 13.
Princeton had just five bench points. Dalen Davis led the reserves with three points.
Garrett Hien led the Paladins with 16 points. He went 7 of 9 from the field. He also went 2 of 7 from the free-throw line.
Hien also had eight rebounds and two assists.

He was one of three Furman players, who scored double figures. JP Pegues had 14 and Alex Williams had 13.
The visitors had 15 bench points. Tyrese Hughey led the bench with six points.
