Lee scores 23 as Princeton remains undefeated; beats Drexel by 11

Princeton, NJ — The Princeton Tigers men’s basketball team has remained undefeated. They defeated the Drexel Dragons on Tuesday night 81-70 at Jadwin Gym. 

With the win, the Tigers improved to 9-0. The Dragons fell to 5-4.

Both teams made at least 15 baskets in the second half, as they each scored more than 40 points. The Tigers had 45 second-half points while the Dragons had 44.

The Tigers led at halftime 36-26. 

Xaivian Lee led the Tigers starters with 23 points. Lee had gone 9 of 20 from the field, including 3 of 8 from three-point range. He also was 2 of 2 from the free throw line. 

He also had nine rebounds, six assists, and one steal. 

Four of the five starters for Princeton scored double digits. Caden Pierce had 19 points. Matt Allocco contributed 12 and Zach Martini added 10. 

The Tigers had 13 bench points. Dalen Davis led the serves with 11 points. Davis also had two rebounds, one assist, and one steal. 

Justin Moore led the Dragons starters with 19 points. He went 5 of 15 from the field, including 1 of 4 from three-point range. He also shot 8 of 10 from the free-throw line.

Moore was the only starter in double figures. He also had one rebound, one assist, and three steals. 

The Dragons had 35 bench points. Kobe Magee led the reserves with 18 points. He also had five rebounds and one block.
