Gotham FC plays to a 1-1 draw with Reign FC in New Jersey

Gotham FC played to a 1-1 draw with the Seattle Reign FC on Sunday. The game was played at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey.

With the draw, Gotham FC improved to 8-4-3. The draw made the Reign FC’s record 2-4-9.

In their all-time series, this was the eighth draw between the teams. The Reign FC leads the series with 12 wins.

The record is 12-8-9. Gotham FC has nine wins. Seattle has scored 43 goals while Gotham FC has scored 38 goals.

This was Gotham FC’s first draw in two months. They had a 1-1 draw with the San Diego Wave on May 12th.

Reign FC has had a draw in their last three games. They also had a 1-1 draw with the Racing Louisville FC on June 23rd.

They also had a 0-0 draw with the Portland Thorns on June 16th.

Rose Lavelle gave Gotham FC a 1-0 lead. She scored right after the second half began in the 47th minute.

Ella Stevens assisted on the goal.

Then, right before the end of the game, Gotham FC had an own goal. Nealy Martin was credited with the own goal in the 90th+9 minute mark.

There was only one yellow card given out in the game. Phoebe McClernon received a yellow card in the sixth minute.

Gotham FC goalkeeper Ann-Katrin Berger made four of five saves.

Reign FC goalkeeper Claudia Dickey made three of the four saves.
