The Washington Spirit have won their 11th game of the season. The team defeated Bay FC on Saturday at PayPal Park in San Jose, California.
There were 11,384 fans in attendance. This was the second meeting between the two teams. In March, the Spirit won 2-1 over Bay FC.
With the win, the Spirit improved to 11-1-4 overall. The Bay FC team fell to 6-0-10.

Ouleymata Sarr scored the Spirit’s lone goal in the second half. She scored in the 57th minute.
The Spirit scored their first two goals in the game’s first 25 minutes. Trinity Rodman — the daughter of NBA great Dennis Rodman — scored in the 21st minute.
Rodman scored via a penalty kick. Makenna Morris — who assisted on Sarr’s goal — scored in the fourth minute.
There were three yellow cards given out in the game. The Bay FC picked up two of them.
Katelyn Rowland picked up a yellow card in the third minute. Kayla Sharples picked up a yellow card in the 81st minute.

Two minutes later, Spirit’s Gabrielle Carle was given a yellow card.
Spirit goalkeeper Aubrey Kingsbury made five saves in the game. Bay FC goalkeeper Katelyn Rowland made one save.
