The Philadelphia Union has been snake-bitten at home. The team continues their winless streak at home that goes back several months.

The Union has performed well against the New York Red Bulls in the past. However, on Saturday, the teams played to a 0-0 draw at Subaru Park.

As a result, some people had signs that said “Sugarman sell the team.” The team and security took these.

Jay Sugarman is the team’s principal owner. Other banners criticized the team’s lackluster moves and performances.

The team’s loyal fanbase will have to wait at least 10 days before they can again voice their displeasure with the team management. The Union have two games during the week of July 15th when they have a home game on July 17th and then several days later on July 20th.

The Union will be on the road for their next game. They play the 7-3-13 Toronto FC in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on July 13th.

In their last seven meetings, the Red Bulls and Union teams have had four draws. The Union also won three contests.

This was the 15th draw between the teams in 47 meetings. The Boys in Blue lead the all-time series with 18 wins.

The Red Bulls have defeated the Union 14 times.

Philadelphia has also outscored New York in the series. The Union has scored 60 goals to 52.

Overall in the league, the Red Bulls are 8th in MLS with a 9-9-4 record. They have 36 points.

The Union are one of the worst teams as they are 26th out of 29 teams. They are 4-9-9 with 21 points.

The team is tied with the Chicago Fire who has a 5-6-11 record. Despite the five wins, the team also has 21 points.

In the Eastern Conference, the Red Bulls are fourth with their aforementioned 36 points.

The Union is 14th overall with 21 points. Right now, it is highly unlikely that this team will be in playoff contention with the way that they are playing.

Only D.C. United has a worse record. They are 4-8-11 with 20 points.

Red Bulls player Daniel Edelman picked up a yellow card at the 45+2 mark for a foul. Union captain Alejandro Bedoya received a yellow card in the 86th minute as a result of an argument.
