Kye Kelley will miss the Street Outlaws All Star Canadian races

Kye Kelley has announced via social media that he will not be competing in the Street Outlaws All Stars Canadian tour events this month. He plans to resume the Street Outlaws No Prep Kings tour in August.

A group of Street Outlaws are competing this weekend in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. They will be competing at Rad Torque Raceway on July 19th and 20th.

The following weekend, the drivers will then compete at Mission Raceway Park in Mission, British Columbia, Canada.

“Unfortunately, I won’t be making the trip to Canada,” Kye Kelley Racing said in a Facebook post. “With everything that has happened in the past month, I have pressing family matters to attend to at home that can’t be handled if I’m away for the next two weeks. This will also give the crew and I some much-needed time to regroup and process before kicking off the rest of the season, and we’ll be able to test and work bugs out on the new car and small tire Shocker these next few weekends off.

“I apologize to the Canadian fans, and I hope you understand. Please support the other Street Outlaws Live No Prep Elite racers who made the trip, they’re there to put on a great show for you!”

While Kelley is not competing in Canada, he is advertised for an event at Twin City Raceway in Monroe, Louisiana on Saturday, July 27th. He will be driving Shocker at the event.

Kelley lost his father in the middle of June. Then two weeks later, his ex-fiancée Lizzy Musi passed away following her battle with Stage 4 Breast Cancer.

We do know that Street Outlaws stars Ryan Martin, Jeff Lutz, Scott Taylor, Chris “Boosted GT” Hamilton, and Kayla Morton are competing in Canada.
