Chester, Pa. — The Philadelphia Union struggled at home. They have a horrendous home-losing record this season.
However, the team has won their last two home games. The Union defeated Nashville SC 3-0 on Saturday at Subaru Park.
With the win, the Union picked up their sixth win. They have three wins at home and three wins on the road.

Before this week, their lone win at home was on March 30th against Minnesota United FC. The Union won 2-0.
Philadelphia is now 6-9-10 overall. The Union has 27 points.
At press time, Philadelphia is in 10th place in the Eastern Conference. They are tied with CF Montréal with the aforementioned 27 points.
The Union are just 3 points out of eighth place. Toronto FC is currently in that position with 30 points.
This week alone, the Union has picked up six points. They started the week as the 14th-place team in the Eastern Conference
Now, they are in the mix for a playoff spot.
Nashville SC fell to the 12th position in the Eastern Conference. This was their 11th loss.
Two of their 11 losses have come to the Union. Philadelphia also won 2-1 over Nashville in Tennessee on April 6th.
Nashville SC is 6-8-11 in 25 games. They have 26 points overall.

B.J. Callaghan will take over as their head coach on Monday. Rumba Munthali has been serving as the interim head coach since May.
Munthali took over when Nashville SC fired their former head coach Gary Smith.
All MLS teams will now take a break from their regular season for the next month. MLS and Mexican teams will play in the 2024 edition of the Leagues Cup.
This special tournament will feature a group stage. Then the top two teams will advance in the tournament before becoming single elimination.
The Union advanced to the final weekend last year in the inaugural tournament. They finished third overall.
Inter Miami CF won the tournament. They actually defeated Nashville SC in the all MLS final.
Daniel Gazdag had a hat trick against Nashville SC. He scored his first goal in the 10th minute.
Gazdag then tallied his second goal in the 39th minute. Finally, towards the end of the game, Gazdag scored his third goal in the 89th minute.
With his hat trick, Gazdag is now fourth in the league with 14 goals. Real Salt Lake forward Cristian Arango leads the league with 17 goals.
This was the second straight hat trick for the Union. Tai Baribo scored a hat trick on Wednesday night in a 5-1 win over the New England Revolution.
That game was Baribo’s first hat trick with the Union. Baribo has six goals for the team this season.
These were the first Union hat trick since 2023. Mikael Uhre had the last Union hat trick before this week.
Uhre scored three goals against Toronto FC on April 22, 2023, in a 4-2 win.
Gazdag previously had a hat trick on October 9, 2022. He scored three of the four goals in a 4-0 win against the Toronto FC.
He also had a hat trick on August 27, 2022. That’s when the Union won 6-0 against the Colorado Rapids.
