The Philadelphia Phillies announced on Friday that they acquired Baltimore Orioles outfielder Austin Hays. In exchange, the Orioles received pitcher Seranthony Domínguez and outfielder Cristian Paché.

The Phillies had been in the market for an outfielder. Online speculation tied them to Chicago White Sox outfielder Luis Robert Jr. However, his asking price was high.

At press time, it is unclear if this will be one of many moves for the Phillies. The team has struggled as of late, as their relief pitchers have struggled to close out games.
