Sprint Car driver Jacob Allen announces he’s going to be a girl dad

Shark Racing Sprint Car driver Jacob Allen has announced that there will be a special addition to his team. He announced that his wife Hannah is pregnant. 

Instead of waiting to find out the sex, the couple announced that it is a girl.

“Excited to see us grow as parents together, Hannah will be the best mom, excited for this coming era of our lives,” Jacob Allen Racing said in a Facebook post. “I’m ready for all of it, couldn’t be more happy and excited. Girl Dad.”

While Jacob Allen did not reveal when the baby was due, Hannah shared that the girl is expected to arrive in November. 

“littlest Allen coming in November 💓,” Hannah said in the post. 

Allen is a former World of Outlaws regular. In the offseason, the Hanover, Pennsylvania native decided to pursue the High Limits Series. 

With the World of Outlaws, he has competed in eight races. He had one Top 5 and two Top 10’s. 

Do we have a little racer on our hands? That will be determined at a later date. 

Allen is a third-generation racer. His father is the legendary Boby Allen. 

His grandfather is Joe Allen. Bobby’s grandson is Logan Schuchart.

Shark Racing presented by Drydene operates a two-car Sprint Car operation. The team features Allen and Schuchart. 

According to SprintSource.com, Allen finished 23rd in the World of Outlaws race at BAPS Motor Speedway on Wednesday. His last win came on June 21st when he won the 410 race at Bloomington Speedway in Bloomington, Indiana.

According to the High Limit Racing Series, Allen is currently 13th in the points standings. He has one win, four Top 5s, and 8 Top 10s. 

Allen — who is sponsored by R.F. Knox Company Inc., Pells Tire Service, among others — has 1,229 points. He is 675 points behind the points leader Brad Sweet, who has 1,904 points.
