Chester, Pa. — The Philadelphia Union is on a hot streak at home. The team was on a horrendous home stretch for much of the season at Subaru Park.
However, in the past two weeks, the Union have not lost along the Delaware River. They have now won three straight.

The Union won 1-0 on Saturday night against Charlotte FC.
With this win, they are currently atop of their Group Stage in the Leagues Cup tournament. This was the first game in Group O.
On Wednesday night, Mexican’s Cruz Azul will play Charlotte FC at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina. Then, their Group stage will be determined following Sunday, August 4th.
The Union will play Cruz Azul on August 4th at Subaru Park at 8 pm EST.
Depending on who has the top two spots in the Group, they will advance to the knockout stage.
This was actually the Union’s first win against Charlotte FC all season in three meetings. On June 22nd, the Union was defeated 2-0 by Charlotte FC at Subaru Park.
On May 25th, the teams played to a 0-0 draw in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Tai Baribo scored in the first half. He gave the Union a 1-0 lead during the 33rd minute.
This was Baribo’s fourth goal in the Union’s past three games. He also scored a hat trick in the team’s 5-1 win against the New England Revolution.
In all competitions, he has now scored seven goals since June 19th against FC Cincinnati. He had two goals against FC Cincinnati.
He also scored a goal against Toronto FC. And then had the aforementioned hat trick against the Revolution.
