Alabama on upset alert? South Carolina leading in the third quarter

Could the Alabama Crimson Tide lose for the second straight week? They are on the ropes for the second consecutive weekend.

The Crimson Tide will be on upset alert for the rest of the game. Alabama came into the game as the No. 7 ranked team.

The South Carolina Gamecocks were unranked.

One week ago, the unranked Vanderbilt Commodores shocked the college football world. They defeated the top-ranked Crimson Tide for their first win against an Associated Press top-ranked team.

Raheim Sanders gave the Gamecocks the lead at 6:09 left in the third quarter. Sanders’s score gave the home team a 19-14 lead.

The Crimson Tide have been in a battle with the Gamecocks, as they were with the Commodores. Vanderbilt ultimately was able to pull off the massive win.

Will the Gamecocks be able to do the same this weekend? We’ll have to wait and see.

South Carolina has not won in Tuscaloosa, Alabama since the 2004 season. Two decades ago, the Gamecocks won 20-3 on October 2nd, 2004 in Alabama.

The Crimson Tide, according to Winsipedia, leads the all-time series 11-4. Will Alabama make it 12-4?
