Los Angeles Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh will not coach the rest of their game against the Denver Broncos. The game is ongoing.
According to the Chargers, Harbaugh is dealing with an illness. At press time, it is unclear on what kind of illness he is dealing with.

Defensive coordinator Jesse Minter has been assigned as the interim head coach.

Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh was having his press conference. That’s when he was told by a Public Relations member to come off the press conference.
The PR member likely told him about his brother’s leaving the game.
According to the Chargers account on X (formerly Twitter), Harbaugh was questionable to return. However, in the second quarter, the Coach returned to the sidelines.
At press time, it is not clear if the illness is out of his system. Or if it’ll return in the second half.
The Chargers came into the game against the Broncos with a 2-2 record. They had a bye week leading up to the game with the Broncos.
Harbaugh is in his first season as the Chargers head coach. The 60-year-old spent nine seasons as the Michigan Wolverines head coach before returning to the NFL.
He returned to the Chargers organization in January after guiding the Wolverines to the College Football Playoff National Championship. Michigan defeated the Washington Huskies in the Championship game.

Harbaugh previously played in the NFL, including a stint as the Chargers quarterback.
As an NFL head coach, Harbaugh is 46-21-1, including a 2-2 record this season with the Chargers.
It’s not clear if the game plan briefly had to change with Minter serving as the interim head coach. Minter came with Harbaugh to the Chargers after being the Wolverines’ defensive coordinator.
