The Virginia Tech Hokies defeated the Boston College Eagles on Thursday night. The Hokies won 42-21 over the Eagles at Worsham Field at Lane Stadium in Blacksburg, Virginia.
With the win, the Hokies improved to 4-3 on the season. Virginia Tech has now won two straight games.

Boston College is also 4-3 now following the loss. The Eagles have dropped their last two games.

Hokies quarterback Kyron Drones went 14 of 18 for 164 yards. He had one touchdown pass.
Bhayshui Tuten had 18 carries for 266 yards and three touchdowns. Benji Gosnell had four receptions for 49 yards.
Eagles quarterback Thomas Castellanos went 17 of 26 for 205 yards. He had two touchdown passes.
Turbo Richard had nine carries for 64 yards. Jeremiah Franklin had three receptions for 49 yards and one touchdown.
Boston College outscored Virginia Tech 21-14 in the second half. Castellanos hit Treshaun Ward for a 25-yard touchdown reception.
Castellanos also hit Franklin for an 11-yard touchdown reception. Kye Robichaux also scored on a five-yard rushing touchdown.

Hokies’ Tuten scored on a six-yard rushing touchdown. He also scored on a 61-yard rushing touchdown.
Virginia Tech led 28-0 at halftime. Drones scored on an 11-yard rushing touchdown. He also scored on a one-yard rushing touchdown.
Tuten scored on an 83-yard rushing touchdown. Drones hit Tuten for a 20-yard touchdown reception.
