The Tampa Bay Buccaneers had a potent offense. Now, Baker Mayfield is without two key offensive figures.

Chris Godwin is most likely out for the rest of the season with a dislocated ankle. He suffered the devastating injury late in the fourth quarter against the Baltimore Ravens on Monday Night Football.

Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles has said on Tuesday that Evans will not return until after the bye week. That means he will not see game action until Week 12 against the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Evans will miss the next three weeks with a hamstring injury. Then the team has the Week 11 bye.

Without Evans and Godwin, Bowles, offensive coordinator Liam Coen, and Mayfield will need other players to step up. That’s unless General Manager Jason Licht makes a trade to help the offense in the meantime.

The Buccaneers play the Atlanta Falcons at home on Sunday at 1 pm. Then, they have a Monday Night Football game against the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday, November 4th, at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City Missouri.

The team will conclude the first part of the season with a home game against the San Francisco 49ers on November 10th.

This season, through seven games, Evans has had 26 receptions for 335 games in seven starts. He also had six touchdown receptions.
