The No. 4 Ohio State Buckeyes defeated the No. 3 Penn State Nittany Lions on Saturday afternoon. The Buckeyes won the football game 20-13 over the Nittany Lions at Beaver Stadium in University Park, Pennsylvania.

The win improved the Buckeyes to 7-1 on the season. Ohio State has won two straight games following their one-point loss to the Oregon Ducks in the middle of October.

The Nittany Lions are also 7-1. This was their first loss of the season.

Ohio State has won eight straight games in the series. Since the 2002 season, Winsipedia shows that the Buckeyes are 19-4.

In addition, after their dominance over the last two decades, Ohio State leads the all time series 25-14.

In the last 120+ minutes against the Buckeyes, according to reporter Joe Smeltzer on X, the Nittany Lions have scored just one offensive touchdown.

Ohio State was down 10-0 in the first half. Then, over the course of the rest of the game, they went on a 20-3 run in one of college football’s toughest venues.

Buckeyes quarterback Will Howard went 16 of 24 for 182 yards. He had two touchdown passes and one interception.

Howard — who was a Penn State fan growing up and attending Downingtown West High School — said that PSU would get their best game. He said before the game that he was looking forward to the contest.

According to Google Maps, Downingtown, Pennsylvania is nearly a 3-hour drive to University Park, Pennsylvania. Howard said Penn State never recruited him.

Quinshon Judkins had 14 carries for 95 yards. Jeremiah Smith had four receptions for 56 yards.

Nittany Lions quarterback Drew Allar went 12 of 20 for 146 yards. He had one interception.

Allar returned to the lineup on Saturday after leaving in the first half of the Wisconsin game.

Tyler Warren had 3 carries for 47 yards. Nicholas Singleton had six receptions for 54 yards.

The Buckeyes outscored the Nittany Lions 6-3 in the second half. Ohio State’s Jayden Fielding made two field goals.

Fielding first made a 46-yard field goal. He also made a 39-yard field goal.

Penn State’s Ryan Barker made a 44-yard field goal.

Ohio State led 14-10 at halftime. Howard hit Brandon Inniss for a 21-yard touchdown reception.

Howard also hit Emeka Egbuka for a 25-yard touchdown reception.

The Nittany Lions got on the board when Zion Tracy intercepted Howard. Tracy then returned it for a 31-yard interception for a touchdown.

Barker also made a 29 yard field goal.
