According to CBS Sports writer Matt Norlander, Auburn Tigers men’s basketball freshman Jahki Howard and senior Ja’Heim Hudson were the two players involved in a physical altercation on Friday’s flight to Houston, Texas. This caused the plane to be rerouted back to Alabama.

As we reported, via Jeff Goodman’s information, the plane was expected to take off later after landing in Alabama.

“Source to @CBSSport: Auburn freshman Jahki Howard and senior Ja’Heim Hudson were the players involved in Friday(‘s) physical altercation on the team plane,” Norlander wrote on X. “Both players did not travel for tonight’s game against No. 4 Houston. Their status beyond this weekend is TBD.”

The Tigers play the Houston Cougars tonight at 9:30 pm from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas on ESPNU.

The Cougars are the betting average to win the game.

Both players appeared in one game this season. Howard scored seven points in the only game of the season.

Hudson scored two points.

Howard, a forward, is from Boston, Massachusetts, and came from Overtime Elite. Hudson, a forward, is from Hinesville, Georgia, and played at Wheeler and transferred into Auburn from SMU.
