2024 In-N-Out Burger NHRA Finals Top Fuel Dragster Preview

The NHRA will conclude its season this weekend. The Top Fuel Dragster class will be competing for the final time in 2024 at the In-N-Out Burger NHRA Finals at In-N-Out Burger Dragstrip in Pomona, California.

Doug Kalitta won his first championship at this event last year. It was his third win of the season.

There are 19 dragsters registered for the event, according to the NHRA’s registration site.

The veteran driver will be back this weekend in his Mac Tools and Toyota-backed Top Fuel Dragster. Multi-time World Champion Steve Torrence will be there in his Capco Contractors Top Fuel Dragster.

SCAG Power Equipment sponsored driver Justin Ashley will be there as he competes for the World Championship. Matco Tools and Lucas Oil-sponsored driver Antron Brown will be there, as well, as he is also in the hunt for another championship.

Brittany Force won the last Top Fuel Dragster race in Las Vegas. The John Force Racing driver, who won her first race in two calendar years, will be there with support from Monster Energy.

Multi-time Champion Tony Schumacher will be in Pomona with backing from Leatherwood Distillery. His teammate Ida Zetterstrom will conclude her rookie season with backing from JCM, VP Racing Fuels, Edelbrock, and Comp Cams.

Racing legend Tony Stewart will be competing this weekend with backing from Direct Connect and Mobil 1. His wife Leah (Pruett) Stewart is expecting a baby within the next week to 10 days.

However, right now, we do not know how long or soon the baby may come.

Parts Plus-backed Top Fuel Dragster driver Clay Millican will be there. R+L Carriers and Technet-backed driver John Hart will also be racing there.

Never Give Up inspired driver Lex Joon will be there. However, no primary sponsor was listed for him.

Kalitta Air and Toyota-backed driver Shawn Langdon will be there. Right now, he is still in the mix for the championship despite losing his tire in a race in Las Vegas.

Gary Pritchett will be making his NHRA Top Fuel debut. He will have a Bunny Burkett wrap on the dragster with additional help from Hoopes Fire.

Capco Contractors Top Fuel Dragster driver Bill Torrence will be in attendance. Scrappers Racing driver Jasmine Salinas will also be there.

Reed Trucking driver Shawn Reed will be racing there. McLeod and Red Line Oil-backed driver Krista Baldwin will also be there.

Professional Bull Riders, Marck Recycling, and Rooftec-backed driver Scott Palmer will also be in his dragster there for the event. Ron August Jr. will round out the bunch with backing from California Air.
