Former Stewart Haas Racing driver Noah Gragson asked the public on Wednesday for help in finding his missing helmet. He has posted an a new update.
Gragson has shared that his helmet has been found and returned to him. He said on Wednesday night on an Instagram live stream that he believed that his helmet was on the plane in Denver, Colorado and was expected to return to Charlotte, North Carolina on Thursday morning.
“We’re so back!!!,” Noah Gragson posted to Instagram about his then-missing helmet. “Thank you to American Airlines and everyone of you who have helped to get the helmet back! Was bummed last night pretty bad but so excited now. We’re getting on a flight down to the @freedom.factoryusa for 2.4 hr of Le Mullets. I’m teaming up with big daddy @travispastrana! Hope I don’t forget this thing again. Should I wear it for the whole flight so I don’t forget it lol”
Gragson had this helmet with him, along with the Tony Stewart tribute helmet, as he was racing in the season finale at Phoenix Raceway this past weekend in Avondale, Arizona. The Stewart tribute helmet was signed by the NASCAR Hall of Famer at the conclusion of the race.
He may not need this helmet for a while outside of the event he is doing with Cleetus McFarland in the near future.
The offseason has just begun and some NASCAR drivers take the time off to spend with family before they prepare for their February return. A few others, like Kyle Larson, Christopher Bell, and Alex Bowman will compete in dirt racing.
With Stewart Haas Racing ceasing operations, Gragson has switched to Front Row Motorsports in 2025.
