The East Carolina Pirates defeated the Tulsa Golden Hurricane on Thursday night. The Pirates won 38-31 over the Golden Hurricane at Chapman Stadium in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
With the win, the Pirates have become Bowl eligible. The team is now 6-4 overall.
After Mike Houston was fired, the team has responded with a 3-0 record under interim head coach Blake Harrell.

The Golden Hurricane fell to 3-7 with the loss.
Pirates quarterback Katin Houser went 24 of 37 for 314 yards. He had one touchdown pass and three interceptions.
Rahjai Harris had 18 carries for 114 yards and two touchdowns. Anthony Smith had three receptions for 84 yards.
Golden Hurricane quarterback Cooper Legas went 20 of 32 for 293 yards. He had three touchdown passes and one interception.
Legas had 13 carries for 43 yards. Joseph Williams had five receptions for 158 yards and three touchdowns.
The Pirates outscored the Golden Hurricane 21-14 in the second half. London Montgomery scored on a 16-yard rushing touchdown.
Harris scored on a 23-yard rushing touchdown. He also scored on a 24-yard rushing touchdown.
Following his score, he converted the two-point conversion.
Golden Hurricane’s Legas hit Williams for a 14-yard touchdown reception. Legas also hit Williams for a 50-yard touchdown reception.
The game was tied at 17 apiece at halftime. Pirates’ Houser hit Winston Wright Jr. for a four-yard touchdown reception.

Marlon Gunn Jr. had a one-yard rushing touchdown. Andrew Conrad made a 52-yard field goal.
Legas hit Williams for a 39-yard touchdown reception in the second quarter. Golden Hurricane’s Keuan Parker had a 30-yard interception return for a touchdown.
Sean Morgan also made a 47-yard field goal.
