Mixon scores 3 TDs in Texans blowout win over the Cowboys

The Houston Texans have blown out the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football. The Texans won 34-10 over the Cowboys at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

With the win, the Texans improved to 7-4 overall. The Cowboys fell to 3-7 overall.

Houston snapped their two-game losing streak.

According to the telecast, the Cowboys have trailed by at least 20 points in their sixth straight home game. Five of those contests have come this season.

The Cowboys have dropped their fifth straight game. And questions are looming about head coach Mike McCarthy’s job security.

Dallas has not won a game since October 6th when they came from behind with a late touchdown to defeat the Pittsburgh Steelers in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud went 23 of 34 for 257 yards. He also had one interception.

Joe Mixon had 20 carries for 109 yards and three touchdowns. Nico Collins had four receptions for 54 yards.

Cowboys quarterback Cooper Rush went 32 of 55 for 354 yards. He had one touchdown pass and one interception.

Rico Dowdle had 10 carries for 28 yards. CeeDee Lamb had eight receptions for 93 yards.

The Texans outscored the Cowboys 17-0 in the second half. Rush was sacked by Derek Barnett for a seven-yard loss in the fourth quarter.

Rush fumbled the ball on the play. Tyler Guyton picked up the ball, before fumbling the ball for a five-yard loss.

Barnett scooped up the fumble and returned it for a 28-yard fumble return for a touchdown.

Mixon scored on a one-yard rushing touchdown. Ka’imi Fairbairn made a 29-yard field goal.

The Texans led 17-10 at halftime. Mixon scored on a 45-yard rushing touchdown.

Mixon also scored on a one-yard rushing touchdown. Fairbairn also made a 33-yard field goal.

The Cowboys’ Rush hit KaVontae Turpin for a 64-yard touchdown reception. Brandon Aubrey also made a 53-yard field goal.
