The Los Angeles Rams defeated the Minnesota Vikings in the Wild Card Round game on Monday Night Football. The Rams won 27-9 over the Vikings at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
With the Rams winning, they advanced in the playoffs. The team will play the No. 2 seed, the Philadelphia Eagles, on the road on Sunday afternoon at the Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania next.

Los Angeles is now 11-7 overall. The loss ended the Vikings season, as they fell to 14-4 with losses in back-to-back games.

Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford went 19 of 27 for 209 yards. He had two touchdown passes.
Kyren Williams had 16 carries for 76 yards. Tyler Higbee had five receptions for 58 yards.
Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold went 25 of 40 for 245 yards. He had one touchdown pass and one interception.
Aaron Jones had 13 carries for 48 yards. T.J. Hockenson had five receptions for 64 yards and one touchdown.
The Rams’ defense was non-stop attacking Darnold, who was sacked nine times. And his star receiver Justin Jefferson had just 58 receiving yards.
The Vikings outscored the Rams 6-3 in the second half. Darnold hit Hockenson for a 26-yard touchdown reception. Following this score, their two-point conversion failed.
Rams kicker Joshua Karty made a 44-yard field goal.

The Rams led 24-3 at halftime. Stafford hit Davis Allen for a 13-yard touchdown reception. Jared Verse scored on a 57-yard fumble return for a touchdown.
Stafford also hit Williams for a five-yard touchdown reception. Karty also made a 34-yard field goal.
Vikings kicker Will Reichard made a 34-yard field goal.
