Tiger Woods’ mother Kultida Woods has passed away

Golf legend Tiger Woods’ mother has passed away. He posted the news on X that Kultida Woods passed away in the morning.

An official cause of death has not been announced yet. She was 80 years old.

“My Mom was a force of nature all her own, her spirit was simply undeniable,” Woods said. “She was quick with the needle and a laugh. She was my biggest fan, greatest supporter. She was loved by so many, but especially by her two grandchildren, Sam and Charlie. Thank you all for your support, prayers and privacy at this difficult time for me and my family. Love you Mom.”

She reportedly Tiger’s father in the 1960s after he served in the U.S. Army while being stationed in Thailand. Tiger Woods was born in 1975.
