Bills ink NFL MVP Josh Allen to a new six year deal

In February, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen won his first NFL MVP. Several weeks later, he has agreed to a new contract.

Allen has agreed to a six-year contract extension. His new deal could potentially be worth $330 million.

This contract includes $250 million in guaranteed money. He is now signed through the 2030 season.

Through this agreement, Allen will now make $55 million per season. He now has the second-highest deal in terms of annual average value, only trailing Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, who has a $60 million annual average.

Allen – who is considered one of the top quarterbacks in the league – was the seventh overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. The 28-year-old has spent the past seven seasons with the Bills.

He has gone 76-34 as a starter in 110 games. He appeared in 111 games overall.

Allen has gone 2,296 of 3,628 for 26,434 yards. He has thrown 195 touchdown passes and 84 interceptions.

In 2024, Allen guided the Bills to a 13-4 record. He went 307 of 483 for 3,731 yards. He also had 28 touchdown passes and six interceptions.

The 3,731 passing yards were the fewest since his second year in the league in 2019. That’s when he had 3,089 passing yards. From 2020 through 2023, he surpassed 4,000+ passing yards.
