Chester, Pa. — The Philadelphia Union and the Orlando City SC played to a draw on Saturday evening. These two teams did battle before settling for a 0-0 draw at Subaru Park.
This was the Union’s first draw of the season. It was also Orlando City SC’s second draw of the season.

They played in the second 0-0 draw of Saturday’s slate. Austin FC and the Portland Timbers also played in a 0-0 draw at Q2 Stadium in Austin, Texas.

The Union are now tied with four Eastern Conference teams with 13 points. However, in the MLS Standings, they are in third place.
Currently, Inter Miami CF — who defeated the Union last weekend — is currently in second place with their 4-1 record through five games. Then, it’s the Union with their 4-1-2 record through seven games.
Inter Miami CF hosts the Toronto FC on Sunday night.
Following the Union, it’s Charlotte FC and FC Cincinnati, who also have 4-1-2 records. Both Charlotte FC and FC Cincinnati won on Saturday.
Charlotte FC won 2-1 over Nashville SC. Plus, FC Cincinnati defeated the New England Revolution.
Orlando City SC are currently in the 6th spot with a 3-2-2 record. The team has 11 points.
According to Soccer Reference, this is the seventh draw all time between these two teams. Each team also has eight wins and eight losses.
The Union outscored Orlando City SC 41-33 in the 23 games.
This was the second 0-0 draw in the history of the head-to-head play. On August 8th, 2015, the teams also played to a 0-0 draw at Orlando Citrus Bowl.
This draw between the teams were their first since June 21st, 2023, when they played to a 2-2 draw at Exploria Stadium in Florida.
This was Bruno Damiani’s first start for the Union. He was a key acquisition by the Union in the off-season. Damiani played the first 68 minutes before being subbed out in favor of Mikael Uhre.
These two teams will not play again in the regular season. They played their two regular season in about six weeks. The Union won the season-opener 4-2 against Orlando City SC on February 22nd, 2025, at Inter&Co Stadium in Orlando, Florida.
The teams had seven total shots on goal. The Union had four of their 21 attempts on target.
Orlando City SC had three of their six shots on target.
The Union held possession 63% of the time. Orlando City SC held possession for just 37% of the time.
There were nine yellow cards given out. Five were against Orlando City SC and four were against the Union.
Orlando City SC’s Robin Jansson picked up a yellow card in the 35th minute. Luis Muriel then picked up a yellow card in the 52nd minute.
Shortly thereafter, Joran Gerbert picked up a yellow card in the 58th minute. Dagur Dan Þórhallsson picked up a yellow card in the 75th minute.
Pedro Gallese also picked up a yellow card in the 90th minute.

The Union’s Indiana Vassilev also received a yellow card in the 90th minute. Quinn Sullivan received a yellow card in the 76th minute.
Nathan Harriel received a yellow card in the 74th minute. Damiani also received a yellow yard in the 65th minute.
