Lee — the New Jersey native, who now calls California home — went 4.042 at 311.77 mph. Richards — the Florida native — finished third.

Richards went 4.320 at 227.80 mph. Hagan — the Virginia native — finished last in the quad, as he went 7.965 at 87.66 mph.

Prock went down the groove and made a good pass for the win. Lee got out of the pack first. However, Prock had surpassed him by the 660-foot mark.

Richards was making a good pass when he lost traction as he moved close to the wall and shut off the car. Hagan lost traction around the 400-foot mark.

This is Prock’s 13th career win. It is also his ninth win in the Funny Car that is tuned by his father Jimmy Prock and his brother Thomas Prock.
