He returns to the lineup at home at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts.
The 36-year-old left winger has not scored in the last six games that he played in. He also did not have an assist in any of these games.
He did have a goal and an assist against the Toronto Maple Leafs on April 27th.
If the Bruins could even the series, the two teams will play Game 7 on Sunday in Florida. Last year, the Panthers defeated the Bruins in Game 7 en route to making it to the Stanley Cup Finals.
On the season, Marchand —who was the team’s third round pick in the 2006 NHL Draft — has scored 29 goals on the season. He also had 38 assists and 67 points.
In 10 playoff games, Marchand has scored three goals. He also has seven assists for 10 points.
He was a game-time decision before returning to the lineup. He was injured in Game 3 when he was hit by Panthers player Sam Bennett.
Then during the hit, it appeared that Bennett took a shot on the captain.
